“Well done,” Guruji said, handing her an ornate key. “Your ancestors built an emergency waterway system under the temple. Hurry!”
Meanwhile, Radha was at the temple, praying for the village’s safety with other villagers. “Oh, Goddess, protect our village,” she whispered.
Suddenly, Preeti burst in, disheveled but determined. “Radha, I need to do something important!”
“What is it? What’s the rush?” Radha asked, alarmed.
“No time to explain,” Preeti replied, inserting the key into a hidden lock near the temple’s altar. She turned it.
A rumbling sound filled the air as water gushed from the underground channels, racing towards the forest. The fire was extinguished, and Kalapura was saved.
Guruji turned to the villagers. “Today, Preeti has learned the importance of thinking before acting. These waterways, built by her ancestors, remind us that wisdom comes from thinking ahead.”
Radha hugged Preeti tightly. “I’m so proud of you,” she said.
Preeti looked humbled. “I’ve learned my lesson, Radha. Thinking before you act is the most magical thing you can do.”
As Guruji took back the Time-Turning Chappals, he said, “Remember, Preeti, the real magic is in learning from our actions, not in undoing them.”
