In the vibrant, bustling city of Jaipur, there lived a young boy named Arjun. He was no ordinary boy; he had a peculiar ability – he could talk to birds. However, this unique gift often left him lonely as his peers found his ability strange and avoided him.
One sunny afternoon, a colourful parrot named Mithu flew into Arjun’s lush garden. Seeing an opportunity to make a friend, Arjun approached Mithu, his heart pounding with excitement. “Hello, Mithu,” Arjun greeted, his voice gentle. Mithu, surprised and delighted to find a human who could understand him, squawked a happy “Hello!” back.
Arjun and Mithu quickly became inseparable. They spent their days exploring the city, with Mithu flying above, his vibrant feathers shimmering in the sunlight, and Arjun running below, his laughter echoing through the streets. But their happiness was short-lived. A notorious bird-catcher named Raka heard about Mithu and decided to capture him for his beautiful feathers.
Raka was fascinated by Mithu’s vibrant feathers and decided to capture him. He set a trap near Arjun’s garden, using a shiny trinket as bait. The trinket was attached to a hidden net, designed to ensnare Mithu the moment he touched it.
Mithu, attracted by the shiny object, got caught in Raka’s trap. Arjun, discovering Mithu’s empty perch, was filled with dread. He searched the garden and found the remnants of Raka’s trap. Recognising Raka’s handiwork, Arjun knew he had to act fast.
Arjun remembered hearing about Raka’s hideout from the city’s birds. He approached a wise old owl, who guided him to Raka’s location. Arjun’s heart pounded as he neared the hideout, knowing he had to be smart and brave.
